We are looking for friendly and dedicated Day Care Centre Workers to work at our Day Care Centre at the Gathering Place in St. Athan assisting our service users who are aged 65 and over.
These are two permanent roles one working 14 hours per week & the other 15 hours per week. Or one role working a total of 29 hours depending on the successful person appointed.

What you'll need
You will need to have a full drivers licence as you will be required to transport our service users around the local area. You will also be required to cook lunch at least one day a week.
Where you will be working
The Gathering Place - St. Athan - we provide a flexible, needs-led, day care service for up to 10 Service Users per day from the local area. Service Users will be over 65 and include those who are frail and elderly and those with varying degrees of dementia.
The day service will provide support to Service Users by relieving isolation and providing social inclusion and respite for carers. The service is aimed at preserving basic social, personal and domestic skills or regaining such skills where they have been lost.
