We are looking for an experienced Head of Property Services to join our asset function on a permanent full time basis, working 36 hours per week. This job offers a salary of £56,190 per annum and will be working at St Hilary Court, Cardiff - Although we are working from home at the moment due to the Covid -19 pandemic.

What you'll do

You will lead the Property Services team in the delivery of a high quality repairs and maintenance service. You will develop and maintain working practices to enhance service delivery, profitability and customer satisfaction whilst minimising our Carbon footprint. You will be responsible for devising, implementing and monitoring the Property Services Strategy and associated policies, initiating and delivering an agreed property improvement programme directly.

You will be responsible for managing the Property Services budget, expenditure and cashflow, maximising financial performance at all times and ensuring the viability of services provided. As an active member of the Senior Management Team, you will provide leadership and act as a role model to all colleagues within the team, encouraging them to deliver a high-quality service.

What you'll need

We are looking for someone who is committed to helping us deliver an excellent service by pro-actively identifying opportunities for cost reduction and greater efficiency. To succeed in this role, you will have a genuine passion and interest in what we do as an organisation with previous senior management experience. You will have demonstrable experience of leading and managing a large and complex team in a housing or a customer focused environment.

You will have a relevant qualification or equivalent experience, with up to date knowledge of asset management and the legal, regulatory and operational framework related to repairs services, including health and safety. We are looking for someone who has a proven track record of delivering and managing budgets and making sound financial and commercial decisions. You will be able to analyse complex data and present information in a user friendly way.

You will need a full current driving license and have a willingness to work flexibly.
