We currently have an exciting and rewarding opportunity available for a experienced Support Workers to provide support for people with a need of Mental health and complex issues in Temporary Supported Accommodation within Bridgend.
This is a part time, permanent role working 18 hours per week, £10.46 per hour
What you'll do
You will be working with an established team you will play a critical role in supporting tenants to develop or enhance existing practical skills and knowledge in tenancy management in their journey to independent living in their own home . You will be providing Housing Related support in line with the Supporting People grant specification and outcomes.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role you will have experience of supporting individuals with varying complex support needs. You will need excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to and build supportive relationships. Experience of working in working in a psychologically/ trauma informed way, with experience of supporting people affected by ACE's or supporting people with mental health issues would be advantageous within this role.
A qualification in Social Care or related discipline is desirable but not essential.
You will need a full, current driving license and use of a vehicle.
