We are looking for a dedicated Multi-Skilled Void Operative to carry out plumbing and carpentry duties as well as general repair, maintenance and improvement of our properties. This is a permanent, full-time post working 40 hours per week, paying £12.86 per hour / £26,267 per annum

What you'll do

You’ll play a key role in repairing and maintaining our properties so they meet our high quality standards and provide a safe and comfortable home for our customers. This will include repairing kitchens and bathrooms, hanging doors, painting and decorating and garden work. You will work closely with your team to ensure all jobs are completed to a high standard within agreed timeframes and to budget.

What you'll need

You will have experience of repairs and maintenance, ideally within residential properties and you’ll hold an NVQ Level 2 in an appropriate trade. You will be able to demonstrate a broad range of trade skills to carry out a variety of maintenance tasks to a high standard of craftsmanship. We are interested in people with a range of skills and experience, we will consider people who have a relevant qualification with limited experience or people who have experience that are yet to complete a qualification - for further information please see the full job description.
