Relief Support Worker
Location: Bridgend and Rhondda Cynon Taff Areas
Salary: £10.46 per hour

We are looking for a Relief Support Worker who is seeking a rewarding job within the Bridgend and RCT area. The successful candidate will be providing housing-related support to individuals within supported accommodation settings and floating support within the community, including people who have mental health issues or a physical disability, young people and the elderly.

This is a permanent, zero hour contract. 

What you'll do

You will provide a psychologically informed support service for people who use Hafod’s services and who have a variety of support needs including: adults with mental health issues; young people; older people; people with a physical disability or chronic illness.

What you'll need

To be successful in this role you will have experience of supporting individuals with varying complex support needs. You will need excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to and build supportive relationships. Experience of working in working in a psychologically/ trauma informed way, with experience of supporting people affected by ACE's or supporting people with mental health issues would be advantageous within this role.

A qualification in Social Care or related discipline is desirable but not essential.

You will need a full, current driving license and use of a vehicle.
