Due to growth within the team, we are looking for a Graduate Project Surveyor to join our Asset Management team. Following the successful recruitment of a Graduate Project Surveyor into our team in the summer, we are looking for an additional recruit to start their career in asset management.
The salary for this role is £23,230 per annum, working 36 hours a week on a permanent basis. You’ll even be able to work a nine-day fortnight – having a day off every two weeks!
We are embracing hybrid working. If you are successful you can work from home most of the time if you wish, but you will occasionally need to attend our sites for interactive working and to forge great relationships with others. A driving license and access to a car is essential for this role.

What You’ll Do
Working across the team, you’ll be getting involved in a variety of tasks and projects that will help you develop specialist skills.
You’ll take ownership of collating and cleansing data in our asset management software.
Using analytical reporting and trend analysis, you’ll improve value for money across the asset management service.
You’ll help develop our software systems alongside our IT team and train colleagues on the new functionality.
Leading on our whole stock option appraisal process, you’ll provide recommendations to senior management on future housing stock viability.
You’ll contribute to a number of strategic projects addressing such areas as decarbonisation.
You’ll work closely with our Property Services and Development teams to review and improve our materials and specifications.
What You’ll Need
The successful candidate will have a degree in a property related field, with a good understanding of industry regulations.(Example degrees: Building Services Engineering, Building Surveying, Property Development and Planning, Construction Project Management, Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management.)
Confidence at using Microsoft Office packages including Excel is essential, and ideally you’ll have experience of using asset management software.
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about helping our customers, who has excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical skills too.
You’ll be proactive and able to prioritise your workload, especially when working under pressure.
You’ll be accurate, with great attention to detail and an ability to quickly absorb information.
You’ll be able to build relationships with people from different backgrounds.
