We currently have an exciting and rewarding opportunity available for an experienced Support Worker to provide support for our team in our temporary accommodation scheme in RCT.
This is a full time, permanent role working 36 hours per week
What you'll do
Providing flexible and tailored support to meet the needs of individuals being supported throughout their accommodation journey, helping them to gain necessary skills to sustain initial temporary tenancies through to moving on into independent living. This is a very exciting and rewarding role for the right person who has a passion in working with people who are experiencing mental health issues, and understanding the challenges that they face. You will need to be solution focused, creative in seeking out employment opportunities; education and training with a view to building the skills required for independent living in challenging times.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role you will have experience of supporting individuals with varying complex support needs. You will need excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to and build supportive relationships.
A qualification in Social Care or related discipline is desirable but not essential.
You will need a full, current driving license and use of a vehicle.
