We are looking for a dependable and dedicated Kitchen Assistant who is seeking a rewarding job within one of our care homes. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the cook with a high standard of food preparation whilst maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness.

The hours of work are every Thursday and Friday 8.30am - 2.30pm, plus alternate Saturdays and Sundays 8.30am - 2.30pm.  This means week one is 12 hours (Thursday and Friday) and week two is 24 hours (Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) which averages out at 18 hours per week.  The rota covers all 365 days of the year, including bank holidays.

Ty Heulog is our new extra care scheme situated in the heart of Talbot Green providing affordable independent living for people over 55. Extra Care can be a viable alternative to sheltered accommodation or residential care by encouraging and promoting independent living and providing, wherever possible, a home for life with care and support services that can increase or decrease as the individual’s needs change. It is suitable for single people or couples, where one or both have need of more supportive accommodation.
