We are looking for an Administration Assistant to join our Support Service based in the Rhondda area in Rhondda Cynon Taf. In this role you will provide administrative support to a floating support service. You will have the opportunity to utilise your skills and experience to really make a difference.

This job is being offered on a permanent, part-time basis working 20 hours per week with an annual salary of £9.48 per hour. We have flexibility over the working pattern and this can be discussed at interview.

What you’ll do

Reporting to the Floating Support Manager you will be providing a range of high quality administrative support and will be the first point of contact for clients or visitors. You will ensure confidentiality at all times, only releasing confidential information to those acting in an official capacity in line with policies and procedure.

You will administer the process for ordering of goods and services, record purchases, monitor and control stationery and other stock levels. You will administer referrals received into the service and maintain accurate records using spreadsheets and databases and assist in the collation of statistics and reports.

As Administrative Assistant you will be the first point of contact by telephone and to receive visitors in a warm and welcoming manner.

What you’ll need

To be successful in this role you will have administrative and customer service experience. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.

Excellent computer literacy is a must, particularly in Outlook, Word and Excel. You will be able to prioritise your workload, meet deadlines and adapt to changes as they arise.
