We are searching for Scheme Manager to join Ty Heulog our Extra Care Scheme in Talbot Green, Pontyclun. Ty Heulog provides affordable independent living for people over 55. This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis with an annual salary of £32,478 plus generous benefits.
What you'll do
As an Extra Care Scheme Manager you will be accountable for the efficient running of the Scheme and delivery of housing management; support facilities and other services to tenants. You will ensure all contractual obligations are met whilst supporting joint working with internal and external partners.
You will be responsible for supporting tenants to understand and comply with their tenancy obligations. A primary aim will be to facilitate tenant engagement and an activities programme to develop a sense of community and well-being at the Scheme.
The role will involve maintaining relationships with Home Care teams in each local authority to enhance Person Centred Care and Support. In addition, you will be required to liaise with appropriate agencies to address and resolve any tenancy issues requiring intervention and/or further action outside core housing management arrangements.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role you must be passionate about working in an organisation with a social conscience. You will have a relevant professional qualification and/ or qualification in Social Work or Housing.
You will have management experience in residential care, supported housing of social work settings.
You will be able to engage with people at all levels and promote positive relationships, adapt to changing priorities and empower your teams to deliver quality services.
You will have excellent IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft office and the use of databases and spread sheets.
As this role will involve some travel, you will need a full driving licence with the use of a vehicle.
