We are looking to appoint a Leasing Housing Officer, to join our busy team on an temporary basis. The role is offered on a part time basis, working 20 hours per week. This position will be based in St Hilary Court, Cardiff. This job offers a salary of £28,236 pro rata - other benefits are listed below.
What you'll do
As part of a small team you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of temporary accommodation, with the aim of supporting tenants to sustain their tenancies and prepare them for other rehousing solutions.
What you'll need
You will need a good standard of education and a relevant professional qualification would be advantageous. We are looking for someone who has a proven track record in a client and/or support service environment with vast experience of debt recovery. The successful candidate will ideally have a sound understanding of Housing Law and temporary accommodation. You will have demonstrable skills in communication including letter/report writing and an excellent telephone manner. You will be expected to have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage your time effectively. In addition, it is essential to have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, ideally you will have experience of using Housing Management software packages.
A driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role.
