We are looking for an experienced Night Worker to join us on a permanent basis as an integral part of our Young Person's Project. This role is offered on a relief basis and will be working across two Young Person's Supported Living schemes in Cardiff. This job offers a pay rate of of £8.26 per hour - other benefits are listed below.
What you'll do
To assist in the provision of a full range of support services to Young People with complex needs within a Supported Housing Project.
To provide night cover and work as part of a team in order to support and assist Young People in their Supported Accommodation environment.
To ensure that support is provided in a manner which enables the Young People to feel safe in their own home and able to live independently.
To work as part of a 24/7 staffing rota.
What you'll need
Possession of a qualification in Social Care or related discipline in respect to working with Young People would be advantageous/
You will have experience of working directly with Young People with support needs and experience of liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies
You will have knowledge of the issues affecting disadvantaged Young People and Knowledge of local resources/advice services appropriate to Young People.
You will need excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage your time effectively. In addition, you will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
You will need a full current driving licence and access to own vehicle and a willingness to work flexibly
