We are looking for an experienced Support Worker to join our team. This is a permanent role offered on a relief basis. The role will be working throughout the Bridgend area within our Supported Housing Services. This job offers a pay rate of £10.00 per hour - other benefits are listed below.

What you'll do

To provide housing related support to tenants with support needs either in supported housing or in their own homes. The role will involve supporting people to maintain their accommodation and achieve independent living.

What you'll need

You will need a good understanding of liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies and experience of working directly with vulnerable individuals with support needs in a Supported Housing setting. You will need a good working knowledge of local resources/advice services appropriate to the client group. You will need excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to and build supportive relationships with people who are disadvantaged and experiencing difficulties, to respond appropriately to their needs.

You will need a full current driving licence and access to own vehicle with a willingness to work flexibly.
