We are looking for an enthusiastic Relief Cook on a permanent, part-time basis to work at our Brocastle Manor Care Home in Bridgend.
What you'll do
This is a permanent role on a zero hours contract. You'll be in a key role where you can make a difference. You will ensure that our residents are provided with healthy, high quality options. You will ensure that a good standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained throughout the kitchen. You will also be responsible for directing and supervising kitchen staff and ensuring they are also aware of their responsibilities with regard to food hygiene and preparation. We have a 5 out of 5 hygiene rating on all our sites.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role you will need to have the skills and knowledge to communicate clearly and provide a first class service to tenants. You will need to have a food hygiene certificate and catering experience based in a professional setting. You will be well organised and have the ability to work with your own initiative to meet deadlines which may be under pressure.

Brocastle Manor Care Home in Bridgend is a large 80 bed care home providing superior care and support within a warm and welcoming environment. At Brocastle, residents in need of Nursing and EMI care are supported to live as independently as possible in a safe environment with staff and management providing high standards of care.
