We are looking for a friendly and dedicate Care Worker seeking a rewarding job which will be based in one of our Extra Care Schemes in Cardiff and also out in the community. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high level of care to our residents which promotes their independence while safeguarding their dignity. As part of the team, you will participate in the day to day activities of the scheme or the service user out in the community.
You must be a driver and have access to a vehicle.
What you'll do
Provide daily care to the residents, supporting individuals to live as independently as possible.
You will work in a team of health care professionals providing individualised care to each resident dependent on their needs.
What you will need
Experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
Successful candidates will be caring and passionate about their role and work well in a team towards a common goal.

Where you will be working
You will be based in Dol-yr-Hafren which is purpose-built accommodation containing 15 independent flats. Each flat is self-contained and carefully designed to allow the highest degree of independence for people with significant physical disabilities or degenerative health conditions. They are situated next door to the specialised facilities of our Woodcroft care home. Tenants will receive care and support when they need it, in their own flat, according to their own needs and from their own dedicated Domiciliary care team. You will also be based out in the community across Cardiff delivering care to people in their own homes.
