We currently have an exciting and rewarding opportunity available for an experienced Support Worker to provide support for older people living in our 3 Extra Care Facilities across Bridgend.
This is a full time permanent role, working 36 hour per week
£10.00 - other benefits are listed below.
What you'll do
This role will be key in providing housing related support to individuals in their own homes or within the Extra Care facilities, supporting people to maintain their accommodation and achieve independent living. You will be working in close partnership with all relevant agencies and local networks to support individuals to develop independent living skills to enable them to sustain a tenancy and fulfill their potential.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role you will have experience of supporting individuals with varying complex support needs. You will need excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to and build supportive relationships.
A qualification in Social Care or related discipline is desirable but not essential.
You will need a full, current driving licence and use of a vehicle.
