We have a position for a Housing Assistant to join our team based in St Hilary Court, Cardiff. This role is being offered on a full-time, temporary basis for an initial period of two months. The role offers an annual salary of £20,900 per annum depending on experience.
What you'll do
You will assist Housing Officers in supporting tenants in their temporary homes, with the aim of preparing them for other rehousing solutions. In addition, you will be providing assistance to Housing Officers and the Leasing Team with administrative duties.
What you'll need
You will need a good standard of education with experience of working with vulnerable adults. To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has demonstrable experience in a client and/or support service environment. You will need to have a positive attitude to teamwork with a willingness to support colleagues to deliver a customer focused service. The role will require strong communication skills, both written and verbal. As the role will involve minute taking and letter writing, you will need to have a good working knowledge of Microsoft office packages.
You will have a valid driving licence with use of a vehicle.
