We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join a busy HR team on a full time permanent basis working 36 hours per week, based in St Hilary Court, Cardiff. This job offers a salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum - other benefits are listed below.

What you'll do

Reporting to one of our operational HR Business Partners you will provide timely, accurate and robust advice and guidance on the full range of routine and complex HR Issues. You will meet regularly with people managers within the business areas that you support and contribute to the continuous improvement of people practices within the organisation, as well as managing a case load for your business areas. You will work alongside our specialist teams; engagement and wellbeing; resourcing, and OD to provide a full generalist service to the organisation. There will be opportunities to contribute or lead on the development and delivery of HR projects. Based with our HR team in Culverhouse Cross you will travel to a number of sites across the South East Wales area.

What you'll need

You will be experienced in providing generalist HR Advice and will need to be CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent. A higher CIPD qualification would be desirable. You will be comfortable managing a varied caseload, and be able to interpret and provide guidance on people policies and procedures whilst taking into account employment legislation and risk. Although you will have the support of your manager and the wider HR team you will be able to use your initiative and will know when issues need to be escalated.

A full UK driver's licence and use of a vehicle is required.
