We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our busy, ambitious and award winning HR team on a full time permanent basis.  Having recently won the CIPD Wales Award for best 'In House Team' for our initiatives on investing in our people we are keen to continue our work with a range of transformational HR projects that you can get involved with.  

You will be-working 36 hours per week with the option to work a 9-day fortnight, based from St Hilary Court, Cardiff. This job offers a salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum - other generous benefits are listed below.

What you'll do

You will work closely with our managers across a number of parts of our organisation to provide advice and guidance on the full remit of HR issues, coaching managers to develop their people management skills and practices.  You will work with the support of our specialist teams for engagement and wellbeing, resourcing, and OD to really make a difference to our organisation.  We have a range of proactive projects planned over the next 12 months that you can get involved with to help us deliver a truly transformational HR service that adds value to our organisation, and to give you variety in your job.  

What you'll need

To be successful in this role you will already have a good grounding in providing generalist HR Advice.  You will be CIPD Level 5 qualified or have equivalent experience. You will be able to use your initiative and be comfortable managing a varied caseload, with the ability to interpret and provide guidance on people policies and procedures in line with employment law. 
You will have the support of our wider HR team to collaborate with and to sound out ideas, but for your caseload you will largely be able to work autonomously and will know when to escalate as required.  A full UK driver's licence and use of a vehicle is required.
