We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our busy accounts department on a temporary basis, the role is estimated to last up to 3 months. You will be working 36 hours per week, based in St Hilary Court, Cardiff. The role offers a salary of c. £30,168 per annum - dependent on experience
What you'll do
You will be responsible for the preparation of the weekly, monthly and quarterly financial management reports and the calculation and processing of periodic accruals and prepayments. A key part of your role will be the preparation of the statutory financial statements and supporting schedules for review by external audit including service charge and leaseholder accounts.
What you'll need
We are looking for someone who is either AAT qualified or a part qualified CCAB Accountant or someone who is qualified by experience. You will have demonstrable experience of preparing management and statutory accounts with understanding of relevant accounting standards. To be successful in this role you will have experience working in a busy finance department with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines. You will have experience of preparing management and statutory accounts and will be competent across Microsoft Office programmes, particularly with strong Excel skills. Experience working within the Social Housing and/or Care sector is desirable.
