We have an opportunity for a Static Care Worker to join our team on a temporary basis. This is a highly rewarding role working within our modern extra care scheme in Golau Caredig in Barry.

What you’ll do
In this role you will be providing care to our customers undertaking personal care and tasks such as administering medication, meal preparation, supporting them to pay their bills, writing letters and helping with activities and days out.
You will be supporting our customers to ensure they achieve as much independence as possible whilst maintaining their dignity and respect.

To be successful in this role you must be reliable, flexible and have a passion for helping others and be able to use your own initiative.

Where You’ll Be Working
Golau Caredig provides affordable independent living accommodation for people over 55 in 42 purpose-built one and two-bedroom flats. Individual care and support is provided by ‘in house’ domiciliary care and a tenant support service. The development is close to Barry town centre and includes several communal facilities including a restaurant, hairdressers, laundrette and multi-use activity area.
