We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join Hafod on a permanent full time basis, working 36 hours per week. You will be working as part of an award winning HR Team working on projects supporting the delivery of our People Strategy. This job offers a salary of £36,880 - £40,084 per annum and will be working in St Hilary Court, Cardiff - although we're all working from home at the moment and quite impressed about how productive and well it is all going.
What you'll do
We’re looking for a Business Partner who will build strong coaching relationships with managers, utilise their extensive knowledge to provide advice on a range of issues, and create, develop and roll out fit for purpose solutions with our strategic plan in mind.
You will work directly with the Senior Management team as well as internal and external stakeholders to build positive relationships and make a leading contribution across a range of operational HR activities and projects. You will be supported by our Talent and Leadership, Resourcing and HR Admin teams and will be responsible for the development and workload of your HR Advisor.
Reporting to the Head of HR, you'll be joining the team at a time of change where you will have the opportunity to really make a difference to the organisation.

What you'll need
To be successful in this role you will already have a good grounding in providing generalist HR Advice and will be experienced in undertaking investigations and supporting managers during formal proceedings. You will have a relevant HR qualification or have equivalent experience. You will be able to use your initiative and be comfortable managing a varied caseload, with the ability to interpret and provide guidance on people policies and procedures in line with employment law.
Based at Culverhouse Cross, Cardiff, you would be expected to travel across our sites throughout South Wales providing timely, accurate advice on the full range of HR issues which arise.
