Support Worker

We currently have two new exciting and rewarding opportunities available for experienced Support Workers to provide support for our supported accommodation scheme in RCT.

You will be expected to work 18 hours per week. The post will primarily offer flexible late afternoon/early evening cover as well as weekend support provision (working alternate weekends) as part of a larger established support team. The position is temporary until 31 March 2022, likely to be extended dependent on funding. 

What you'll do

You will be providing a psychologically informed support service, across two Mental Health Supported Houses in RCT, for people who use Hafod Cares services and who have a variety of support needs including: adults with mental health issues; young people; older people; people with a physical disability or chronic illness, substance misuse and offending issues.

What you'll need

To be successful in this role you will have experience of supporting individuals with varying complex support needs. You will need excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to and build supportive relationships.

A qualification in Social Care or related discipline is desirable but not essential.

You will need a full, current driving licence and use of a vehicle.
