Due to a restructure, we are looking for a Community Safety Officer to join our existing team on a permanent basis, working 34 hours per week. This is an additional post working alongside our existing Community Safety Officer to support front-line colleagues.
We are embracing hybrid working. If you are successful you can work from home most of the time if you wish, but you will occasionally need to attend our sites for collaborative working and to forge great relationships with others.
What you’ll do
You’ll deliver effective and customer focused enforcement and prevention activity to address community safety issues across our neighbourhoods.
You’ll be confident in supporting some of our most vulnerable residents and taking a proactive approach to risk management, domestic abuse and hate related anti-social behaviour.
You’ll promote partnerships and links with external agencies to combat anti-social behaviour of all types and work in partnership with these agencies to resolve safeguarding and domestic abuse concerns.
What you’ll need
You’ll have proven experience in leading on cases involving serious anti-social behaviour.
To succeed in this role you’ll have a working knowledge of housing legislation and the ability to develop effective relationships.
