We currently have an exciting and rewarding opportunity available for an experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team in the Vale of Glamorgan, which provides housing related floating support.
This role is a full time permanent position, working 36 hours per week with an hourly rate of £13.36
What you'll do
You will support a team of Support Workers to deliver tailored tenancy support interventions in line with Supporting People Grant Funded criteria and outcomes. You will collaborate other agencies in supporting families in the prevention of homelessness.
This role will be key in providing a personalised psychologically informed service in accordance with individual needs. You will be working in close partnership with all relevant agencies and local networks to support individuals to live independently.
As a Senior Support Worker you will support and manage a small team of support workers through a positive coaching style.
What you'll need
To be successful in this role you will have experience of delivering support services to a range of individuals with varying needs. You will have a good working knowledge of POVA/ safeguarding, the Welfare Benefits system and working in psychologically informed environments. QCF Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable but not essential. You will need a full, current driving licence and use of a vehicle.
