We are looking for an Assistant Director of Asset Management to join us on a full-time, permanent basis. The role will be working 36 hours a week with a salary of £70,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. You’ll also have the option to work a 9-day fortnight – have a day off every other week!
We are embracing hybrid working. If you are successful you can work from home, but you will need to get to know our range of stock across south Wales and work closely with our Asset Management team to suit business needs, typically on a weekly basis.
What you'll do
You'll be joining a dynamic team who are passionate about making a difference and providing strong leadership and operational management of our Assets and Property Services teams.
Ensuring sound service delivery and performance, you’ll deliver upon our Asset Management strategy, driving service improvements and leading a culture of continuous improvement while focusing on a positive experience for our customers.

What you’ll need
The successful candidate will have experience of positively leading efficient and effective assets and property maintenance and planned works functions.
You’ll be a skilled strategic thinker, thriving in a pressured environment and empowering colleagues to improve our homes and seek the best for our customers.
You will be well versed in the application of housing quality standards alongside sustainable home improvement through energy efficiency measures and new technologies.
Previous experience of working within the Housing and/or Care sector and leading multiple teams will enable you to excel in this opportunity.
A valid driving license and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.
