We are looking for a dependable and dedicated Unit Coordinator who is seeking a rewarding job within our Brocastle Care Home in Bridgend.
This role is permanent working 35.25 hours per week.
What you'll do
You will provide support to the Clinical Unit Lead in the day to day management of the unit, including preparation of staff rosters and annual leave management.
You will be responsible for non-clinical tasks including referrals and communications with external agencies.
Under direction of the Registered Nurse, you will be undertaking clinical tasks within the scope of assessed clinical competence.
What you will need
You will need NVQ Level 3 Successful completion of Hafod Care Nursing Assistant Development Programme AND Level 5 QCF Adult Residential Management or working towards it
You will have significant and relevant experience of working in a care setting, specifically caring for the elderly.
You will have knowledge of the administration of medication and lifting techniques. You will have commitment to providing a professional service with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage your time effectively.
