We are looking for an Extra Care Scheme Manager to join our team at Golau Caredig in Barry. This is a permanent opportunity, working 36 hours a week with a salary of £34,362 per annum.

Golau Caredig is located close to Barry town centre and provides independent living for people over 55 in 42 purpose built one and two bedroom apartments.

What you'll do

You'll be joining a dynamic team who are passionate about making a difference and providing person centred care for every tenant. The purpose of the role is to ensure the Scheme runs efficiently, delivering housing management, support, facilities and other services to tenants.

What you’ll need

The successful candidate will have experience of rent and revenue arrangements for independent living settings, underpinned by a qualification in social work or housing. You'll also have proven knowledge of health and safety in a registered care or supported housing setting, including catering and food hygiene. Strong leadership and communication skills will allow you to thrive in this role, supporting the team to deliver on all contractual obligations.
